Ellen Crimi-Trent has been creating art for as long as she can remember. Ellen went on to study fashion design at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY but quickly changed her major to illustration. Following graduation, Ellen worked for various children’s wear companies before branching out on her own to freelance her work. Ellen quickly began licensing her designs on all kinds of products and works with many well-known companies such as C.R. Gibson, The Gift Wrap Company, Design Design, Elrene, American Greetings, Boston Warehouse, and Creative Expressions to name a few. These days you will find Ellen in her Massachusetts studio working on all kinds of new and exciting designs. She draws her inspiration from various places such as magazines, books, movies, fashion, nature and her family.
