We are excited to welcome master quilter Celeste Alexander to our teaching roster after her 14 year hiatus on the Oregon coast. Celeste is the designer of the Beginner's Sampler class that Lauretta Ehling has been teaching at Quilted Strait. Celeste has created a new sampler class that is designed to teach a variety of additional techniques. Whether you are a fairly new quilter, or a more experienced quilter that would like to improve your skills, this class is perfect for you. Quilt top can be completed with a variety of hand and machine techniques, or can be completed entirely by machine. Celeste has devised a clever sashing method that includes the pieced sashing in each block, so when the blocks are finished the top just needs a border to be finished! Be sure to come by the shop to see Celeste's beautiful quilt in person. Students need to have rotary cutting skills and have completed at least one quilt. Download Supply List
