Cotton Theory Club January 2012 to June 2012 - The second Saturday of each month (see specific dates below)

Class Fee: You will be registered for all five sessions.
- You can pay $20.00 per month (we will bill your credit card automatically)
- OR you can pay for the entire club at once - $85.00 fee for all five months
Monthly Cotton Theory Club with Mo Harrah. This is where you will learn MORE of the detailed finishes Betty Cotton has developed. You know your One Way Streets and your Highways……..but there are “Merging Lanes, Freeways, Turnpikes, Sidewalks, and Reversible Bindings”…..and more. Betty has new seam finishes that add interest and customization to your Cotton Theory projects……………..and they are just waiting to become part of your Cotton Theory world. Anyone who has taken a Cotton Theory Class can join the club!
Here is how the Club will work:
You will sign up for five sessions at a time, and the club will meet one day each month. Mo will give you instruction on a new technique, you build a folder with your samples………….and this is the first part of the meeting………the second part of the meeting you will work on a larger Cotton Theory Project of your own.
This is the time if you have EVER wanted to tackle one the larger bed size quilts………..and have been a bit intimidated by the planning, cutting and executing. You will find out over the course of these classes just how exciting it is to master one of the larger projects with help! Don’t forget that these projects are done entirely on YOUR home sewing machine. YOUR piecing, YOUR choice of fabrics, YOUR choice of quilting (and we will go over templates and embroidery and bobbin work), and YOUR assembly. This will be 100% your project.
Take a moment, look at Book Two, check out the projects and see what inspires you. You may have finished blocks at home just waiting to be used in your first Cotton Theory Club project (side one, check!). That is the beauty of this informal style of gathering. Each participant comes with a different project and everyone learns as we plan, problem solve, and get the quilt ready for that next quilt show……………..always fun watching your quilt displayed as the viewers keep checking out BOTH beautiful sides! “How did she do that?”
